I just happened to be thinking about Sid and his family and came to this site. Melodi, great work keeping this going. Leslie and Kelly, the song is excellent and quite a tribute to Sid and Joanie's love.

I love you all.

Glad you checked it out and enjoyed it. I am working on podcasting and hope I can eventually put them directly on the site instead of linking to my podcasts. Leslie has some firesides Sid did, and I hope to eventually put up a podcast so that he can speak from the Abha kingdom, as they say!!!!

I could listen to this song all day, and cry every time I hear it! Grandpa's spirit lives in this song. I remember when he told his girls, my mom & auntie, that their pop music was "good", it was "alright", but he didn't think they had what it took to write a "Big Band Tune" .. so to prove him wrong they wrote this about their mom & dad & their lives growing up. Grandpa cried when he heard it and many times after. It became his favorite song & his daughters were now "real musicians" in his eyes ;) As one of his first grandchildren, this is so much more than a song to me, it is the legacy, the spirit, and the love, that he's left behind. Thank You Melody for posting this & for this Beautiful Tribute Page (**FRIENDS & VISITORS: PLEASE follow the links on the side for more wonderful posts of Family Music, Art, & Love). I Love You Grandpa Sid with All My Heart!!
Always & Forever,
Aria
